Colton and Kara were just the cutest couple! Their wedding day was FREEZING cold. Like 19 degrees cold. Luckily, we had a game plan to grab one quick big group picture on the Salt Lake City Temple's stairs and let everyone run inside to the reception at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and grab the rest of the family pictures indoors.
The one thing that was important to Kara was to get bridal photos with the Temple Square lights. I'm so glad she did - because it was MAGICAL. You'd never guess from the images that Temple Square was packed with visitors and that poor Kara and Colton were absolutely freezing.
A few of my shots have overlays of bokeh Christmas lights - these were all done in-camera with my Canon 5d mark iv during down-time at the reception.
