The St. Regis Deer Valley is a luxury ski resort nestled against the mountains in Park City, Utah. In the summer, you'll still find tourists from all over coming to hike, see beautiful mountains and wildlife, and enjoy the unique vibe Park City offers.
When Katie contacted me, she was looking for a photographer to photograph her and her fiance (now husband) around the resort after they eloped. Earlier in the afternoon, the two eloped over zoom. In Utah, you can get a license to have an officiant perform the marriage ceremony over a Zoom call. The couple also had two friends, who served as witnesses, join in on that call. Talk about a contactless process!
For those who are looking to elope for a more intimate experience, St. Regis Deer Valley is the perfect venue. Katie and her fiance stayed in a beautiful suite and were able to enjoy a couple days of skiing. On the day of their elopement, after we explored the resort together taking photographs to commemorate the day, Katie and her husband had celebratory dinner in a private yurt with champagne and dinner.
