As a mother of two little girls, I understand that while adding a newborn baby to the mix is amazing, it is also very stressful, emotional, challenging, and tiring. Add fluctuating hormones and a body that is healing on top of that, and it can feel overwhelming to even think of leaving your home.

 

The last thing you want to do is a) leave the house and b) waste your time and precious energy getting ready (and everyone else ready) if the pictures won't turn out.

So, I created my in-home newborn sessions to solve these problems. Firstly, I want you as comfortable as possible - so I come to you. I bring all of my props, blankets, newborn bean bag and swaddles to you. Most all of the newborn photos you see on my website were taken in someones living room on the floor - not a fancy studio. I understand lighting and posing to get you professional photos in your own home.

Secondly, I want you to have assurances that we will get great pictures. I worked at a local children's studio for 5 years. Photographing over 1,200 families. I know how to get a two year old to smile and hold still and how to make you and your husband look good. I have been trained in handling and posing newborns with safety, precision, and skill.
